Lollipop Crafts Celebration Blog Hop

"It's time for a CELEBRATION!!!  Lollipop Crafts is celebrating their ONE YEAR BLOGAVERSARY and you are sweetly invited to join the fun!

First of all, we are back from summer break with our weekly challenge.  The theme this week is CELEBRATION!  Create a card/project with a celebration theme (ex. birthday, anniversary, wedding, new baby, graduation, etc)  We all have something to celebrate right?  It is the first challenge of the month and that means we are sponsored this week by Meljen's Designs.

Using Meljen's Bunbun image (this is so adorable) I created this cute little birthday card.  One can never have enough birthday cards in my opinion.


The DP is from Bazill (Grandma's Feather Bed).  The image is colored with copics with just a hint of paper piecing with the party hat and cupcake.   I also added just a bit of stickles as well.  The ribbon is from my stash and I cut the balloons out using my Celebrations cartridge and then ran them through the cuttlebug with the polkadots folder.  Since my FB win with Whisker Graphics, I've been using a lot of their baker's twine which I incorporated here for the balloon strings.  The sentiment is a stamp set from Hot Off the Press.  I hope you like it!

Is it Tuesday already?  Have you been to the  Tuesday Morning Sketches blog y et?  Our new sketch is there…. I didn’t want to do a flower for my card, and that’s the great thing about a sketch..you can interpret it the way that you want that fits your style.  I’ve had this Doodlebug Doodlepop sitting on my desk forever and I finally wanted to use it! Vintage Tag for St. Pattys (Challenge Masters DT)

Hey there...so my last tag challenge as the Tag Diva for Challenge Masters, is to create a green tag..it can be any subject as long as it is mainly green...you can check out all the deets here by the way... So this is the one I created. I colored my tag using Pine Needles, Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress Inks with a little Vintage Photo thrown in. I had printed off a vintage pic from the internet because I really don't have a lot of St. Patrick's Day images. I used the vintage photo on it as well and then the rest of the tag was just made using some bits and bobs from my stash. The DP is some BG I've been using for other projects..The flower I inked up a bit to blend it with the tag and same with the lacy ribbon on the bottom (it was originally beige). Box it, Gift it

Hey there.  It's another new challenge on Lollipop Crafts this week and we are looking for your boxes or gifts. Okay..this is not something I normally make but I did have a good time doing it.  A big thank you to Angie Kennedy Juda aka Chicnsratch on Youtube for her tutorial as that's what I used for my project this week.
