I have another card for you! I know 2 in one day! Whew!   Tuesday Morning Sketches is another place I love to draw inspiration from and they have a great sketch for this week. I am still playing with the mounds of product hanging out on my desk so I created another card using the Jovial line from Basic Grey.  I also had an old Tim Holtz stamp that I haven't used in awhile that went well with the DP I used for this card. I've got a lot of those little doilies on my desk so it was great to pull one out and it went great with this line.  I love the teal!  I used the new Mermaid Lagoon ink for the stamp as well as the Expresso.  Some little brads to finish it off.  I am happy to say as well that I finally used up the entire Jovial card kit that I had...success!!! :) Please stop by Tuesday morning sketches to play along!

Warm Wishes

I am trying to get Christmas cards done for my craft fairs which are coming up in November.  I really liked the sketch that Mojo Monday had this week so I decided to play with that one! Here is my card! ] I have been challenging myself to use the mounds of items all over my craft desk this week! I have a Jovial card kit from Basic Grey as well as a bunch of random stamp sets so I used them for this card.  I think those penguins are adorable.  The embossed background was another sheet I had lying around so decided to use that as well.  I hope you enjoy it and don't forget to play along with Mojo Monday to get the creative juices flowing!

Another Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival...

Image
So this past weekend, was my yearly trek to the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival hosted by the lovely ladies at Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. This year's theme was the 80's and I totally got my groove on!  It was so much fun!  I am also excited to report that I will have 2 layouts published in the upcoming spring issue, so I cannot wait for you to see that!  It will be one double layout and one single!  So excited and grateful to Canadian Scrapbooker for allowing me to be a part of their amazing magazine that highlights such astounding talent from coast to coast! While I was at Carnival, I decided to take a class.  I'm not usually one for classes, I tend to want to hoard my scrapping time.  However, I heard that Nicole Wright  (Canadian Nickle Scrap'n) was hosting a card class.  I'm sure that you have seen her around blog land/Facebook, as she does amazing work for for Simon Says Stamp, Sizzix and Ranger (her 12 Days of Tim Tags are phenomenal! ).  Anyway,

Get Well Soon

Another Friday is here and Tammy here with another card design for you.  If you hop over to the Sunsational Stamps blog, I have my post on.   I am using the Hopping you Get Better Soon Frog. He is just adorable! I used some Origami paper that a friend sent to me from Japan. I loved the flowers!  I colored him with my copics and then went over the lily pad with some glossy accents (to make it look wet  :)  ).  I added a bit of ribbon and some sequins for a bit of dimension.  I used my Sizzix to cut him out. I hope that you enjoy  him and don't forget to stop by the store and check out all the great images that we have for you!

It's a new challenge day at Red Carpet Studio and I am hosting this week~  My Challenge is based on a movie that I love In this 1964 beloved musical, pompous phonetics professor Henry Higgins (Rex Harrison) is so sure of his abilities that he takes it upon himself to transform a Cockney working-class girl into someone who can pass for a cultured member of high society. His subject turns out to be the lovely Eliza Doolittle (Audrey Hepburn), who agrees to speech lessons to improve her job prospects. Higgins and Eliza clash, then form an unlikely bond -- one that is threatened by an aristocratic suitor (Jeremy Brett). THE CHALLENGE:  CREATE A "GIRLY" PROJECT WITH LOTS OF LAYERS. I still have a lot of product left from the American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan set that I won a long time ago.  I thought that it would be a great set to use for this challenge.  It has all kinds of fun embellishments and paper.  I also really love the colors.  I used a sketch tha

No Lion

Image
Happy Friday...day before Valentine's Day!  Tammy here with another fun image for you.  I picked this No Lion, I love you from the store because I thought it would make an adorable Valentine's Day card!  I love the store example which is in pink and red (perfect for Valentine's) but I needed mine to match my DP so I went with some yellow. The flowers are from Walmart and the little pearl dots were in my stash.  I colored him with my Copics and the DP is from My Mind's Eye. I just cut the hearts out using some of the left over paper.  I added just a bit of glossy accents on his heart as well.  I hope you like it and don't forget to check out this adorable image in the store here.

Valentine Double Easel

Image
Double Easel BY TAMMY ON FEBRUARY 7, 2015 So I went to my Stampin UP card class on Tuesday and Susan had this great double easel card that we made. I just love learning new fancy folds and techniques. Totally fun! Here is one that I created for the Stuck On U Sketches challenge this month. It’s all about the key to your heart, so keys, locks and hearts! DP: My Mind’s Eye  Die Cut: Provocraft (Sweethearts), Spellbinders  Embellishments: My Mind’s Eye & Dollar Store

Mr. & Mrs.

Hi Everyone!  Tammy here and I am really excited to be a part of the Sunsational Stamps team and to bring you my first project as a DT member.  I saw the Bluebird of Happiness on the Scrapping with Lisa site and thought it would make such a cute wedding card.  Soon it will be the season for those pretty weddings, and it's always great to have cards on hand. The DP is from October Afternoon, and unfortunately I can't remember the line it is.  I used my Spellbinders dies to cut out the scalloped and regular squares.  The image is colored with my copics and then I went over just a few areas with my Wink of Stella clear marker to give it a bit of sparkle.  (It doesn't seem to show well in the photo though).  The sentiment is from Stampin Up (Labels of Love) and the little sparkly hearts are just from my stash.  I hope you enjoy this card and don't forget to stop by the store and see what inspires your next project!
